Unknown ITE device under devices and printers

Ever since I completed my new pc build, I have had an unknown device simply listed as ITE, followed by 4 numbers. No further information on it. All my peripherals are accounted for under , so I cannot figure out what it could be. It has been present since the build was finished.

Most probaly it’s an USB Type-C port of your Gigabyte mobo. I have same device but it’s part of my Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti Gaming OC graphics card.

If I saw an unknow device in Device Manager I don’t think I could tolerate it and would be compelled to turn it into a known device.
What are your plans?
Are you just going to leave it or turn it into a known device?

Does a suggestion that says «it’s worth a try» and «let us know how it goes» instill confidence?
Reinstalling Windows should not count as a «solution».

How did you even find this thread its 2 years old XD
Also, from both Graysonhunter78, buddy215 and more posts that have appeared, this seems to be a common thing on gigabyte motherboards. I am not sure if there are any steps I could take to address the issue. There are no devices unaccounted for that I could get a driver for to address the issue, which was why I made the post in the first place.

Hmmm actually some of the posts state it controls the RGB for the mobo. I wonder if it could be the cause of the boot up issues I’ve been having all these years.
