How to Zoom In and Out on Bluestacks on PC

Who says you can’t play games that require you to zoom on Bluestacks?

If there’s one function the Android emulator Bluestacks needs to make more obvious, it’s the ability to two-finger touch and swipe. A huge amount of games allow you to zoom in and out via pinching your fingers together or swiping them apart on the screen.

If you’ve ever given up on emulating a particular Android game because you weren’t sure how to zoom in or out, you’ll be free of that restriction soon enough.

There are two methods PC users can use to imitate pinching and outward swiping to zoom in and out in games on Bluestacks. These are:

Hold the Ctrl key while pressing the – key to zoom out and the + key to zoom in
Hold the Ctrl key while scrolling up or down using the mouse wheel

This works in any game that innately has a zoom in and zoom out function, but does not work on games that do not allow you to zoom.

Bluestacks has several keybinding functions. Some games have keyboard layout presets already available when you first launch the game (such as Lineage 2: Revolution), but most require you to set the keys yourself if you want to use the keyboard.

You can set up custom keybindings using the keyboard icon on the bottom left of the Bluestacks window. Unfortunately you can’t use this function to set your preferred camera zooming method, but holding Ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel is pretty simple.

There are a lot of reasons to use an emulator like Nox or Bluestacks — perhaps your phone can’t run a game, or you prefer to play your shooters on PC — but not knowing how to do a function as simple as pinching in or out to zoom is a big enough reason not to bother. Luckily now you do know how to do it, so go forth and emulate!

Zooming in and out of Bluestacks may seem impossible, especially if you are emulating an app or game that requires a touch display.

This tutorial will show you how to zoom in and out of Bluestacks.

How to Zoom in and Out of The Bluestacks Emulator

If you have a game that requires zoom, Bluestacks gives you two ways to zoom.

Method 1 – Precision Zoom

The first way to zoom in and out of Bluestacks is precision zoom. It allows you to zoom at a particular point in the screen based on the location of your mouse pointer.

We will use Clash of Clans to show how to zoom in and out in this example. Start by launching the game.

Once the game starts, move your mouse pointer to the point you wish to zoom in. Press the CTRL key and scroll using the mouse wheel.

CTRL + Scroll Down = Zoom In

CTRL + Scroll Up = Zoom Out

Method 2 – Zoom to Screen Center

The other type of zoom is the center screen zoom. This type of zoom zooms in and out of the application concerning the screen center. It is useful when you need to get a general view and not on specific points.
To use this type of zoom, use the:

UP key – Zoom In

Down key – Zoom Down

NOTE: Zooming in and out only works if the target game and application support it.

Откройте окно «Выполнить».
Введите запрос «regedit».
Перейдите по пути HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BlueStacks\Guests\Android\FrameBuffer\0.
Кликните по параметру «Width», что изменить ширину, и «Height» для изменения высоты.

Теперь эмулятор будет работать, принимая во внимание значения, выставленные в реестре. В дальнейшем их можно изменить обратно.

С помощью программы для тонкой настройки

Регулировку параметров также можно осуществить при помощи приложения Aurora 2. Оно позволяет адаптировать управление, размер окна и масштабирование для каждой конкретной игры. Программа устанавливается на компьютер, после чего пользователю нужно открыть файл с сохранениями игры в Блюстакс.
