Задача

Смонтировать видео-отчет из путешествия. Исходные материалы даны в формате MOV.

Исходные данные

Конфигурация компьютера

• Windows 8.1 (64 бит)
• Процессор — 2,16 GHz
• Оперативная память — 8 ГБ

Установленные программы

• Vegas Pro 15
• QuickTime 7.7.9
• K-lite Mega Codec Pack 15.9.0.0

Как и было рекомендовано, сначала были установлены кодеки, а уже потом Vegas Pro 15. Правильная последовательность именно такая: сначала кодеки, после — программа. На разных компьютерах по-разному — из-за нарушения последовательности установки могут возникнуть проблемы и ошибки, а могут и не возникнуть.

Проблема — Vegas Pro 15 не открывает файлы MOV

Vegas Pro 15 открывает только звуковую дорожку в видео-файлах формата MOV, которые мне прислали в качестве исходных материалов для видео про путешествие. Вместо видео-трека — черный экран.

При этом мой Вегас Про 15 открыл без проблем файл с футажем в формате MOV. Я предположила, что видео из путешествия снято на последнюю модель IPhone, и мой Вегас слишком стар для новых форматов видео.

Что я делала по рекомендациям из Интернета

Я просмотрела много видео на русском и на английском языках на тему, как сделать так, чтобы Вегас Про 15 открывал файлы MOV. Самый популярный совет — это установить QuickTime, но у меня он уже был установлен.

• Чистила кэш Vegas Pro 15 — не помогло.
• Частой рекомендацией — это установить более старую версию QuickTime. Снесла QT версии 7.7.9, установила 7.7.6, не помогло, опять установила 7.7.9.
• Удалила K-lite, установила кодеки ffdshow и Xvid — не помогло.
• K-lite опять восстановила, так как в нем очень удобно просматривать видео, например, с разной скоростью. Установила версию K-lite Mega Codec Pack 16.0.5. При установке K-lite было требование удалить ffdshow, что я и сделала.

Решение проблемы — перекодирование MOV в другой формат

Я знала с самого начала, что можно перекодировать видео в другой формат, но при этом может быть потеря качества видео, чего не хотелось бы. Поэтому я сначала попыталась обойтись без перекодирования, но не получилось.

Ни один из файлов mp4, полученных перекодированием из mov с помощью VLC, в Вегас Про 15 не открылся. Вегас выдавал сообщение, что файл или поврежден или имеет неправильный формат.

• Скачиваем программу MediaInfo с сайта разработчика: https://mediaarea.net/ru/MediaInfo
• После установки программы открываем папку с нужным видео файлом, выделяем его и нажимаем правую кнопку мыши, в выпадающем меню видим строчку MediaInfo. Нажимаем на MediaInfo, открывается окошко программы. Выделяем нужный файл, в выпадающем меню нажимаем на MediaInfo, чтобы открыть программу.
• В верхнем меню выбираем View и Text. Открывается текст с полной информацией о файле. Можно получить данные об исходниках нескольких файлов или сразу целой папки. Для этого в левом меню выбираем Select a folder to examine.
• Полученные данные экспортируем, нажав File — Export. Результат работы программы MediaInfo.

Итак, мои файлы mov были сняты на iPhone 11 и сжаты кодеком HEVC. Vegas Pro уже умеет работать с этим кодеком, но имеет множество ограничений. С файлами iPhone 11 должна работать 17-я версия Вегаса, а у меня Вегас Про 15.

Итак, дано: файлы MOV, сжатые HEVC. Нужно получить mp4, чтобы их открыл Vegas Pro 15.

Как я писала выше, когда я выбирала готовые пресеты VLC, то Вегас Про их не открывал.

Для того, чтобы полученные в VLC mp4 открыл Вегас, нужно конвертировать наши MOV в h.264 + ААС. Наиболее распространенными для контейнера MP4 являются видеокодек H.264 и аудиокодек AAC.

• Открываем VLC. В верхнем меню выбираем Медиа — Конвертировать/Сохранить.
• Открывается окно Источник, нажимаем на +, добавляем файл или файлы, нажимаем Конвертировать/Сохранить.
• Открывается окно Преобразовать. Выбираем профиль Video — H.264 + MP3(MP4). Нажимаем на иконку с гаечным ключом справа — Изменить выделенный профиль. Нажимаем на иконку с гаечным ключом справа — Изменить выделенный профиль.
• Открывается окно Редактирование профиля. Во вкладке Аудиокодек выбираем MPEG4 Audio (AAC). Нажимаем Сохранить. Во вкладке Аудиокодек выбираем MPEG4 Audio (AAC). Нажимаем Сохранить.
• Оказываемся опять в окне Преобразовать. Заполняем поле Конечный файл, для этого нажимаем справа Обзор и пишем имя файла, нажимаем Сохранить.
• Опять оказываемся в окне Преобразовать. Нажимаем Начать. Начинается конвертация. Открываем полученный файл в Вегасе!

Если важно качество и не важен размер — подойдет какой-нибудь ПроРес с минимальным сжатием. Для новичка настройки кодера VLC слишком сложны. Сейчас в сети множество бесплатных кодеров с готовыми пресетами.
